The Busan Food Film Festa is a festival that combines film and food, and it is loved every year for its various programs based on different themes. Last year, it was held under the theme of "rice," a staple food for Koreans. There were programs that introduced the charm of different types of rice through movies and shared foods featured in the films. This year’s theme is "noodles," promising a delightful array of films and dishes that convey the warmth and care found in a bowl of noodles, along with desserts, crafts, and merchandise related to noodles At the Food Terrace, you can enjoy dishes from the films with invited guests and immerse yourself in movie scenes. The Cinema Food Terrace provides an outdoor dining experience and the opportunity to embark on the Haeundae River Cruise, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic beauty of Busan's coastline. In addition, there will be many other programs themed around food and film, allowing you to experience the culture and stories that food carries.

The Suwon Cultural Heritage Night is a cultural festival held around the Suwon Hwaseong area, including sites like Banghwasuryujeong, Hwahongmun, and the Suwon Traditional Culture Center, offering beautiful night views and rich experiences. Nearby cultural facilities join in to present a variety of programs based on the theme of the "8 Nights": Night View, Night Path, Night History, Night Painting, Night Storytelling, Night Market, Night Food, and Night Stay. Visitors can enjoy special nighttime tours of Hwaseong Haenggung Palace, guided programs, performances, exhibitions, and even Suwon's local food. Especially under "Night Stay," there are options like temple stays in the city and Suwon’s accommodation promotions, making it perfect for enjoying the festival late into the night. You’ll also get to explore historic sites designated as national treasures, including newly restored areas of Hwaseong Haenggung like Uhwagwan and Byeolju(detached kitchen), which opened to the public for the first time in 119 years.

The Hansan-Mosi The Tradition of Millennium is held to promote Hansan Mosi(Ramie fabric) culture, which has been recognized for its excellent quality, and eco-friendly traditional fibers. Hansan Ramie Weaving was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2011 and continues to this day. First held in 1989 under the name Jeosan Cultural Festival, this long-standing event now offers diverse programs that let visitors experience the rare world of ramie culture. You can try weaving on a mini loom or take part in the Hansan Mosi School. Don’t miss the ramie clothing experience—dress up in beautiful ramie outfits and snap photos at themed photo zones. You’ll discover the charm of ramie clothing, which is not only traditional but also breathable and comfortable for daily wear. The Sinseong-ri reed field, known as the filming location for drama 'Kingdom', is also located nearby, so you can visit it together.

The Gimpo Aramarine Festival is filled with various programs themed around water and the environment, utilizing Gimpo's water and waterfront infrastructure. One of the main events is the Duck Race, where participants submit rubber ducks with assigned numbers, and these ducks race over a 50-meter stretch of the Ara Waterway to determine the winner. You can also participate in the Duck Contest by submitting a short-form video introducing your uniquely decorated duck. The rubber ducks used in the race are either donated to children in need of toys or recycled into household items, building materials, or new toys, minimizing environmental impact! The festival offers a variety of water leisure activities like stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), kayaking, water bicycles, water gun boats, boat rides, and a water play zone for a refreshing experience. The Seoul International Book Fair is Korea's largest book festival, where publishers, authors, and readers have gathered for nearly 70 years. Evolving into an international event, it has embraced new ideas and transformed into a festival that not only showcases books but also facilitates cultural exchanges, serving as a hub for diplomacy and trade. This year, it will be introducing various books under the theme of 'The Last Resort', and you can also meet books from the guest country, Taiwan! While the booths from various publishers and companies are enjoyable, one booth you must visit is the exhibition of Korea's finest books! You can see for yourself the most beautiful books, enjoyable books, interesting books, and wise books in Korea, selected by the Seoul International Book Fair, 10 books each. Additionally, a variety of activities, including lectures, book talks, and special programs, offer something for every book lover!

The Gyeonggi Rice Gimbap Festa is an event designed to revitalize the declining rice consumption culture and promote the use of local rice. As Korean gimbap continues to gain popularity worldwide, this festival offers a unique opportunity to experience a diverse array of gimbap. In the National Gimbap Competition, 30 finalist teams from across the country will showcase a wide variety of gimbap, utilizing Gyeonggi agricultural products as their primary ingredients. Don’t miss the gimbap experience booths, where you can sample gimbap made with seasonal specialties from Gyeonggi. If you pre-register for the cooking class, you can even try your hand at making gimbap with prepared ingredients! Enjoy the process of creating and tasting nutritious and delicious gimbap. Gyeonggi Province, recognized as the birthplace of rice cultivation in Korea, has a deep-rooted connection with rice, and the festival also features rice-based desserts and products, further enhancing the significance of the event.
