Let's begin😎

Seoul Hiking Week is a three-week festival offering a variety of experiences for everyone, from hiking beginners to seasoned trekkers. Over the three weeks, three Seoul Hiking Tourism Centers located at Bukhansan, Gwanaksan, and Bugaksan offer programs tailored to the unique features of each mountain. If you want to enjoy adventurous activities, Bukhansan is the place to go; for a relaxed experience suitable for all ages with family, Gwanaksan is ideal; and if you want to experience traditional Korean culture, keep an eye on the Bugaksan programs!
All programs include English commentary and are guided for a safe experience. In addition to the center-specific programs each week, there will be special events on-site, including a magnet event for completing missions, a Polaroid event, and the Seoul Three Major Mountains Challenge with amazing prizes waiting for participants. Be sure to visit the centers during the festival week!

On November 4th, there will be a program to climb Yeongbong in Bukhansan, offering panoramic views of Seoul, Bukhansan, and Dobongsan. After climbing the thrilling rocky ridges, enjoy the majestic sight of Insu Peak’s slopes. On the 5th and 7th, a program will take participants to Baegundae, the highest peak of Bukhansan. This is the shortest route from the center to Baegundae but is relatively challenging, so please prioritize safety while enjoying the best views of the city.
On the 6th, there will be a program to climb Dobongsan, another mountain accessible from the Bukhansan center. This is a special opportunity to experience the spectacular rock formations and rocky peaks unique to Dobongsan. Additionally, on the 8th, a sunrise hike program will be held, and on the 9th, a trail running program in collaboration with Black Yak will take place. Don’t miss these two programs that showcase yet another charm of Seoul’s mountains!

Enjoy the phytoncides from the fragrant pine trees and a moment of urban healing.
On the 11th and 14th, the Gwanaksan Yeonjudae Climb program allows you to fully enjoy Gwanaksan, a famous mountain in southern Seoul. You can experience the representative hiking route from the valleys and parks all the way to the Yeonjudae summit. Don’t miss various scenic spots such as the Gwanaksan summit marker and the Yeonjudae observation deck. On the 13th, a barrier-free forest trail program will be held, suitable for everyone.
