Gyeongju is a city that served as the capital of Silla, an ancient Korean kingdom with a history spanning 1,000 years.


Gyeongju is abundant with ruins and relics to the extent that it can be likened to an open-air museum.

Bulguksa Temple is Korea's representative temple with a history of over 1,200 years. This temple, built during the Silla period of Korea's ancient kingdom, was designated as a UNESCO cultural heritage site along with the nearby Seokguram Grotto. Bridges such as Cheongungyo Bridge, Chilbogyo Bridge, and Baekungyo Bridge, which were built to access the temple, serve as gateways to the ideal world of Buddhism. Inside the temple, there are the Dabotap Pagoda and the Seokgatap Pagoda, both of which boast exquisite beauty. Nearby is Seokguram Grotto, Korea's representative cave temple!

Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond were palaces and ponds built during the Silla Dynasty where the prince lived. Built on a beautiful pond, it was also used as a banquet venue. This place is famous as a night view spot representing Gyeongju. The sight of colorful lights shining on a beautiful pond will captivate your eyes. Capture beautiful moments of your life here! A green lotus field spreads nearby.

Daereungwon is the tomb site of the Silla royal family. The extensive historical site consists of tranquil walking paths, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful journey. In particular, the trees on both sides of the grave are famous photo spots in this area. The stone wall road leading to Daereungwon is also lined with cherry blossom trees, so if you visit here in spring, you will be able to witness a very beautiful sight. Cheonmachong Tomb, the most significant tomb within Daereungwon, is the resting place of a Silla king and contains valuable artifacts.

Woljeonggyo Bridge is a structure constructed during the Silla Dynasty to link the royal palace with a nearby mountain fortress. The bridge, whose restoration was recently completed, is gaining attention as an emerging night view spot in Gyeongju. You can appreciate the elegant appearance of Woljeong Bridge during the day and admire the beautiful bridge illuminated over the river at night. The columns lined up inside create a unique beauty. Enjoy the beautiful Woljeong Bridge while crossing the stone bridge right in front with your partner!

Hwangridan-gil is one of the most popular places in Gyeongju. This street, lined with gorgeous Hanok buildings, is home to beautiful cafes and souvenir shops. In addition, there are various restaurants and a photo studio where you can rent Korean school uniforms or hanbok to take pictures. At Ohi, the representative café here, you can enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the beautiful view of Hwangridan-gil. The specialty here is the 10-won bread made in the shape of the Korean coin, 10 won. It has a mild flavor due to the cheese, so make sure to give it a try!

Gyeongju World is a modern amusement park that represents Gyeongju. It is also an amusement park with the most intense and scary rides in Korea. The attractions here offer tremendous thrills. Draken, a roller coaster that plunges from an incredible height at a thrilling speed, is the flagship attraction of Gyeongju World. Klake, which rotates 360 degrees, also offers the ultimate thrill.
