Samcheong Information Center was established by opening up a section that had been restricted to civilians for a long time after the 1968 incident when North Korean troops attempted to secretly cross the cease-fire line and attack the Blue House. By passing through this area, you can access the heart of Bugaksan Mountain. The road has been recently renovated and is well-maintained, making it comfortable to climb. The original form of Bugaksan Mountain has been restored, preserving some traces of the area that was used as a military swimming pool, so you can experience the old appearance of Bugaksan Mountain!

The site of Beopheungsa Temple is the actual location of a temple named Beopheungsa Temple. Following an incident in 1968, the area was closed off for a period as a restricted zone but is now accessible to the public. Visitors are welcomed by temple remnants, stone walls, and stone blocks adorned with lotus flower designs. While it is restricted to enter due to its status as a Buddhist ruin, it stands as one of the rare temple ruins in Seoul. The presence of large stone blocks and roof tiles, along with their arrangement, creates an atmosphere that evokes a sense of mystery.

Cheongundae is a location that translates to a place where blue clouds congregate. Continuing further uphill, a notable pine tree adorned with multiple red markings becomes visible. This particular pine tree, aged over two centuries, bears witness to history with 15 bullet scars sustained during a skirmish with our forces when the North Korean military covertly invaded on January 21st. Prior to ascending to the summit, appreciate the azure sky and breathtaking scenery. It is advisable to pause for a moment to replenish energy with water and snacks.
