Winter has arrived in Korea, bringing record-breaking snowfall with it!
Are you looking forward to another snowy day this winter to enhance the end-of-year atmosphere?
There’re places that become more beautiful and enjoyable when it snows.
If you leave with your loved one, you'll be able to enjoy the pure white snow even more!
Let's begin😎
Inje Wondaeri Birch Forest welcomes visitors with a stunning sculpture crafted from birch trees at the entrance of the hiking trail. Since birch forests thrive only in cold regions, there're few places in Korea where they can be found, making the Inje East Asian White Birch Forest the largest of its kind in the country. The forest is situated on the side of a mountain, requiring a hike of up to an hour and a half from the parking lot, depending on the chosen trail. The hike may be somewhat challenging, but once you arrive, you'll be captivated by the enchanting atmosphere created by the unique white bark of the birch trees and the soft blanket of snow. You can capture romantic photographs at various spots throughout the birch forest!

The sensation of swiftly gliding over the pristine snow is a thrill that is difficult to replicate elsewhere. Snow Park boasts a total of 22 slopes, making it the second-largest ski resort in Korea in terms of slope variety. It's highly regarded for its excellent snow quality and diverse slope levels. Jirisan Nogodan is a stunning destination to experience the breathtaking snowy landscapes that envelop the world in a blanket of white. For beginners, the quickest and easiest route to climb Nogodan is to start from Seongsamjae. However, access to Seongsamjae may be restricted based on weather conditions, so it's advisable to check the status before your visit. As you ascend Jirisan Nogodan to take in the snowy vistas, temperatures drop and the terrain becomes increasingly slippery, making it essential to bring crampons and appropriate winter gear. Although the climb can be challenging and cold, the enchanting beauty of the pristine snow all around you inspires a desire to continue. In addition to the captivating snowy scenery, Nogodan also offers breathtaking views of a sea of clouds and stunning sunrises!

Eoreumgol Valley in Cheongsong is renowned for its stunning ice wall, making it a popular destination for photography. This ice valley, characterized by its frigid air, is currently experiencing a natural phenomenon that defies scientific explanation. As temperatures rise, the ice thickens, and cold winds continue to blow, transforming it into a sought-after summer retreat. During the frigid winter months, an artificial waterfall cascades down the rocky cliff, freezing and creating a breathtaking ice wall. As this enchanting landscape gains recognition, it has become a bustling spot for visitors eager to capture images that evoke the feeling of being in a winter wonderland. However, due to the occasional falling ice pieces, we advise taking photographs from a safe distance. The nearby café offers a fantastic view, allowing you to enjoy the ice wall while warming up from the cold.

Seoul Plaza Ice Skate Rink is a popular outdoor ice skating venue where visitors can enjoy stunning views of downtown Seoul at an affordable price. Conveniently located in front of Seoul City Hall, the rink features festive tree decorations that enhance the romantic atmosphere during the year-end season. Skates, protective gear, and helmets are available for free rental; however, gloves are required and must be purchased, so be sure to bring your own! Since it takes 1 hour for operation and 30 minutes for ice freezing each time, you can enjoy it without waiting if you visit at the right time or make an online reservation. The rink is particularly enchanting in the evening, so we highly recommend visiting during that time!
