Happy Chowon Farm is a 230,000-square-meter pasture where Korean native cattle (Hanwoo) are freely grazed, offering visitors a chance to connect with nature and animals. The farm features various hands-on experiences such as feeding animals and donkey rides, making it perfect for families. With spacious lawns and rest areas scattered throughout, it’s an ideal place to run, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. As you stroll along the walking trail, you can also spot sheep and cattle in the open fields. The most popular spot is the scenic observatory where you can sit beneath the trees and enjoy a view of Lake Chuncheon—it’s perfect for peaceful breaks and photo opportunities. The farm, surrounded by mountains and filled with grazing cattle, creates such a unique landscape that it’s often referred to as the “Switzerland of Korea.” It’s also known that BTS members V and J-Hope once visited and enjoyed Hanwoo burgers here.

This park also hosts major annual events like the Goyang International Flower Festival, Autumn Flower Festival, and Lake Art Festival, attracting many visitors. When the 50-meter-high fountain at the center of the lake sprays water, it adds to the cool, refreshing atmosphere.
