2024 SEOUL 10 PEAKS HIKING CHALLENGE is an event where participants can choose to climb 10 out of the 23 renowned mountains in Seoul and win prizes by submitting your selfie.

If you are embarking on the 2024 SEOUL 10 PEAKS HIKING CHALLENGE, here are some recommended mountains for you! The following mountains are located near the Seoul Mountain Climbing Tourism Center's Bukhansan Branch and Bugaksan Branch, eliminating the need for a separate visit to the center to get prizes for your selfie. You can conveniently receive the prize from the center before commencing your hike immediately! Additionally, if you require hiking equipment, you have the option to rent it at the center!



Although the road to the top is not easy, you can enjoy the wide expanse of downtown Seoul. This mountain is loved by many people because of its beautiful scenery. There are various hiking trails of different difficulty levels, making it suitable for anyone to enjoy.

It is near Bukhansan and features around 60 temples. The mountain offers a pleasant climbing experience and the opportunity to explore temples. Cheonchuksa Temple, with a history of over 300 years, is located on Dobongsan. Visit to admire the silhouette of Seoninbong Peak overlooking Cheonchuksa Temple.

Located behind Gyeongbokgung Palace, this mountain was once revered for its connection to the royal family. From the observatory, you can even see the Blue House, which was used as the president's office. Descending towards Anguk and Bukchon after the hike offers a pleasant way to continue your itinerary.

Inwangsan Mountain is situated near Bugaksan Mountain, and the entire mountain is composed of granite. Its distinctive feature is that it stands alone, and its scenery is so stunning that many landscape paintings feature it as the backdrop. The beauty of not only the sunrise but also the sunset, which seems to engulf Seoul, is remarkable.

Would you like to explore nature within the city by hiking Bugaksan Mountain, a hidden nature in Seoul? This program offers a route that provides the opportunity to enjoy the stunning night view from Palgakjeong! The trails are suitable for beginners, offering easy paths. Nevertheless, it is essential to exercise caution when hiking in the evening!

If hiking is your hobby or you enjoy exercising, rock climbing is likely something that has piqued your interest at least once! Have you found it challenging to tackle this activity on a hot or bad day? Seize the opportunity to try indoor rock climbing! Even though it's indoors, you can scale the walls freely while basking in the sunlight streaming in from the ceiling.

Have you tried traditional liquor in Korea? Here, you can try making your own traditional alcoholic drinks! After fermenting for a week, a fantastic taste awaits you! For those who don't have a week to spare, we provide pre-made traditional liquor for immediate enjoyment! This program is only offered to adults.

Seokhojeong, located in Namsan, is a historic archery dojo built around 1630 and restored in 1970. In this serene archery field, you can experience the thrill of releasing an arrow that soars through the wind! Korean archery is known for its accessibility, making it a delightful way to immerse yourself in this traditional martial art!

Feet are also called the second heart! Daemosan Mountain features a trail where you can experience healing by walking barefoot. Rejuvenate your body and mind by strolling along this well-trodden path! Moreover, the natural beauty of the Forest Wildflower Garden, established through the restoration of Daemosan Mountain from a previously trash-filled state, is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Gaemi Village is the last remaining shanty town in Seoul, offering a leisurely experience admiring fairy tale murals. Additionally, you can climb to the summit of Inwangsan Mountain, renowned for its stunning sunsets, and witness the beauty of the sunset! Join this program and capture amazing photos!
