In the midst of a busy city life, there are times when you desperately want a quiet mountain or a cool sea.

You don't have to travel far to enjoy nature.

Even in Seoul, you can fully connect with nature and enjoy a quiet, relaxing time.

Let's go to Seoul's healing spots where you can enjoy nature in the city center in various ways!

Let's begin😎

Supsok Hanbang Land is the only forest-style jjimjilbang (Korean sauna) in Seoul, known for its cozy and unique atmosphere. Located in Sinchon, you’ll find it by going up a sloped alley after passing the main road between Ewha Womans University and Yonsei University. Surrounded by nature, this old building feels like a hidden oasis in the middle of the bustling city. Here, you can enjoy a traditional Korean sauna experience in a charcoal kiln heated to high temperatures.
The charcoal kiln, originally built from earth or stone to bake charcoal, allows visitors to step inside the heated chamber. It offers stages of mild, medium, and high heat, so try each one! The highlight is the charcoal brazier, where you can grill potatoes, sweet potatoes, rice cakes, and more purchased at the snack bar. On the second floor, there’s a Korean restaurant where you can enjoy samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly), making it a great place to experience various aspects of Korean culture.

Surak, Hyu is Seoul’s first natural forest retreat located in Suraksan, where you can spend a day surrounded by nature to heal your body and mind. Opened in July 2025, it has quickly become a popular spot for enjoying a “forest vacation” right in the city. The accommodations are divided into main buildings, individual cabins, and treehouses, with options for up to six people. Various room types including bunker-style, standard, and accessible rooms ensure comfort for everyone.
The highlight is the treehouse, built as if nestled in the actual trees, located 14 meters above the ground. From large windows, you can enjoy a clear view of the forest, and through the skylight above the bed, you can lie down and gaze at the stars at night. Instead of a TV, there’s an LP player, and while there’s a cozy fire pit area, there’s no barbecue site—perfect for immersing yourself in the forest and focusing purely on relaxation away from busy daily life.
