The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call follows a genius surgeon who joins an ineffective regional trauma team to build the best regional trauma center. Written by a real doctor, this medical drama delivers a realistic and gripping portrayal of urgent situations and the lives within them, leaving a strong impression on viewers. The main filming location was Ewha Womans University Medical Center, which appeared as the fictional Korea University Hospital in the drama.
The hospital, renowned for its architecture awards, features open spaces, abundant natural light, and high ceilings, creating a healing environment for patients. While access to certain areas is limited, visitors can feel the realism by observing the busy medical staff in the lobby, just as seen in the drama. Please be mindful that it is an active patient care facility when visiting.

When Life Gives You Tangerines tells the story of the spirited Jeju girl Aesun and the steadfast boy Gwansik, tracing their lives through the four seasons. Rooted in Korean sentiment, the drama warms hearts and resonates even with international audiences. A particularly emotional scene features Gwansik offering kind words to his daughter, Geummyeong, just before her wedding, which brought many viewers to tears. The beautiful wedding scenes were filmed at Gasil Cathedral (exterior) and Gyesan Cathedral (interior).
Gasil Cathedral is also famous for its crape myrtle trees in August, while visiting Gyesan Cathedral for its grand and mystical interior requires avoiding Mass times for sightseeing purposes. In this historically and religiously significant location, visitors can enjoy a special experience reminiscent of the drama’s cherished moments.

Genie, Make A Wish is a fantasy romance about Genie, a spirit awakened from a lamp after a thousand years, and Gayoung, a woman who suppresses her emotions. Praised for its fresh charm built on the familiar motif of a wish-granting genie, the drama captivates viewers with its blend of magic and emotion. In the story, Gayoung follows a strict set of life rules given by her grandmother, scheduling every part of her week — including Wednesday, her “Gamjatang(pork bone soup) day.” Her loyal friend Minji always joins her, keeping their friendship strong through this small but heartfelt ritual. The restaurant where they enjoy their meal, called Sassine Gamjatang in the drama, was actually filmed at Yoonsook’s Gamjatang in Paju, Gyeonggi Province.
With its hanok-style exterior and warm wooden interior, the place exudes a nostalgic charm that speaks of time well kept. Sharing a bowl of rich, nutty gamjatang here with a close friend will make you feel like you’ve stepped right into the world of the drama.
