Let's begin😎

Do you remember the opening scene of Squid Game Season 2? The season begins with the red-haired Sung Ki-hoon’s determination to remain in Korea and track down the organizers instead of boarding a flight to the United States. The scene in which he doesn't board a plane, receives a phone call, and ultimately turns back was filmed at Incheon International Airport. Notably, the most accurate filming location can be found near the Travel Center in Terminal 1 of Incheon International Airport. This airport is the primary gateway for most travelers to Korea, making it a nostalgic filming location for fans of Squid Game 2, both before and after their trip. It'll be enjoyable to visit the same location and compare it to the scene. With the view of your back as you talk on the phone, you can feel like the main character in Squid Game 2!

In episode 1, the frontman's younger brother, police officer Hwang Jun-ho, who was shot by his older brother in season 1, awakens after two years. He has barely managed to return to his role as a police officer; however, due to an incident from two years ago, he is now assigned to the traffic division instead of his original position in the violent crimes unit. The restaurant where Hwang Jun-ho and the squad leader, who encourages him to return to the violent crimes unit, share a meal is Geumseongru, located in Chungmuro. Geumseongru specializes in Korean-Chinese cuisine and offers a variety of dishes, including jjajangmyeon, jjambbong, and tangsuyuk. Notably, the seats they occupy face a unique mirror, making it an ideal spot for taking a certification photo at the Squid Game filming location. Be sure to sit here and take a photo!

Sung Ki-hoon is searching for a man in a suit who plays ttakji-chigi to participate in the Squid Game once again, and he hires a team for this purpose. They discover that the subway station is a frequent location for the unidentified ttakji man, prompting them to explore various subway stations in Seoul to locate him. During this search, they witnesses a playing ttakji-chigi scene involving the ttakji man with Lee Myung-ki at Jonggak Station. Jonggak Station is conveniently located near major tourist attractions such as Gwanghwamun, Cheonggyecheon, Jongno, and Bosingak, and it also connects various parts of Seoul via Line 1. Ttakji man purchased 100 loaves of bread and 100 lottery tickets and headed to a park filled with homeless individuals. He instructed the homeless to choose only one item: either a loaf of bread or a lottery ticket, and they all opted for the uncertain chance of the lottery ticket. Observing this, Ttakji man threw the remaining bread onto the ground and stomped on it, ridiculing them. The park where this bizarre and incomprehensible behavior occurred is Tapgol Park in Jongno. Tapgol Park is the first modern park in Seoul and a historic site where Koreans, under Japanese rule, first read the Declaration of Independence in 1919. Notably, it is an excellent destination for sightseeing, featuring cultural assets such as the National Treasure Wonkaksa Temple Ten-story Stone Pagoda and the Treasure Wonkaksa Monument, which is centered around the Palgakjeong Pavilion, renowned for its Korean beauty.
