Semiwon is a park with aquatic plants located in Yangpyeong. It features six ponds where lotus flowers and water lilies are planted. The water from the Han River, which flows through the ponds, has most heavy metals and suspended substances removed before reaching Paldang Dam. Various types of lotus flowers typically bloom fully from June to August, with festivals held during this period.
