Daelim Changgo is a symbol of Seongsu and a monumental cafe that has contributed to making the Seongsu area a popular destination. The building, which was originally used as a grain mill and warehouse, was remodeled and turned into a cafe and gallery. As you enter the rustic building, you can admire several works by artists. The old factory building, with trees planted inside and various works of art, creates a unique space. Just as Daelim Changgo marks the beginning of Seongsu, embark on your Seongsu journey from Daelim Changgo!

Cafe Onion Anguk remodeled a Hanok that had been used for various purposes in the past and was reborn as a beautiful cafe. This cafe leverages the characteristics of a traditional Hanok, utilizes a spacious garden and a Hanok-style Daecheongmaru. In Daecheongmaru, you are required to remove your shoes before sitting down, a practice that has become the signature of this cafe. This cafe is also famous for its delicious bread. In particular, Pandor is a signature dish, so be sure to try it!

Nakwon is a cafe located in Ikseon-dong, where the past and present coexist. This cafe, which follows a station concept, is unique in that a railroad track and a cafe within a hanok. So, you can take sensational photos with the railroad tracks and hanok in the background. You can also choose from a rotating plate of desserts at this café. Coal coffee and peanut latte are signature drinks, so be sure to try them!

At Cafe Pokpo, you can enjoy coffee and relaxation while watching the cascading waterfall in the center of downtown Seoul. Hongjecheon in Seodaemun-gu is a resting place for citizens with a comfortable rest area, an artificial waterfall, and a musical fountain. In front of the waterfall, there is a cafe where you can enjoy a drink while admiring the waterfall. This is probably one of the most unique Starbucks locations in the world. This branch is located inside the local market, Gyeongdong Market. If you go to this store, you will be taken aback by its plain appearance. But if you go up the stairs and delve deeper, you will be greeted by a huge interior transformed from a converted movie theater. A unique feature of the store is that the order number is displayed using a beam projector after the beverages is made, making you feel like you are in a theater!

London Bagel Museum is expected to remain the most popular cafe and bakery in Seoul in 2024.
