If you love animals, here are some must-visit tourist destinations in Korea.

Let's begin😎

Sheep Farm in Gapyeong is a delightful destination where visitors can encounter a variety of animals in a lush meadow. As a sheep ranch, it offers the unique opportunity to feed and interact with numerous sheep. For a limited number of guests, there's also the chance to feed milk powder to adorable baby lambs. Additionally, you can enjoy a leisurely walk with gentle alpacas, which bear a resemblance to sheep. These friendly alpacas are known for their calm demeanor and will happily accompany you along the scenic walking path, ensuring a memorable experience. Beyond sheep and alpacas, the ranch also allows you to feed meerkats, donkeys, goats, guinea pigs, and rabbits. Be sure to visit the enchanting pine tree where wishes are said to come true, and don’t miss the café, where you can admire the stunning natural beauty of the ranch through large glass windows!

Have you ever heard of a 'vivarium'? it's a space designed for raising animals or plants, functioning as a small ecosystem that creates the environmental conditions necessary for specific creatures to thrive. At Green Forest in Seocho, you can encounter reptiles such as chameleons, lizards, frogs, and snakes living in these vivariums. With the concept of a small forest in the city, various vivariums are grouped together, featuring a vibrant green interior. You can read detailed descriptions of each reptile species, and if you have the opportunity, you can touch lizards or snakes under the guidance of a staff member! They also offer these reptiles for adoption, creating a delightful environment for reptile enthusiasts.

There're various animals at Animal Farm in Icheon, Piatteul, but it's particularly known for fostering a special bond with pigs. Originally established as a pig museum, Piatteul still features a dedicated area where visitors can observe the relationship between pigs and their trainers while learning more about these fascinating animals. It's reported that, aside from pigs, many abandoned animals have been rescued and raised here, creating a diverse farm environment. Visitors can deepen their understanding of pigs—animals we may be familiar with but often know little about—and explore over 300 pig-related exhibits. Enjoy the opportunity to interact with these charming and intelligent pigs, as well as various small animals!

Baladang Adoption Center, established by Seoul City in collaboration with a private organization, aims to promote the adoption of abandoned animals. This center stands out from typical animal cafe as it focuses on rescuing dogs and cats that are at risk of euthanasia, providing them with care. Visitors have the opportunity to engage in walking volunteer work, spending quality time with the dogs awaiting adoption. The dogs selected for walks are matched based on their walking styles and behavior, and volunteers are encouraged to walk them in a respectful manner along designated paths. They're very gentle and follow people closely, so everyone agrees that it's a hard to leave them after a walk. Share your love with these dogs who are eagerly waiting for a caring home!

Dolphins are creatures that are often challenging to spot, and the likelihood of encountering them in the wild is quite low. However, at the Dolphin Healing Tour in Jeju, you can embark on a boat ride with an experienced captain to a location where dolphin sightings are possible! With a remarkable 90% detection rate, your chances of seeing dolphins are significantly enhanced. Additionally, the breathtaking views of the Jeju sea while riding a fast boat are an added bonus! Because approaching wild dolphins by boat can pose a threat to their safety, several regulations are in place. Boaters must maintain a distance of at least 50 meters; however, there are exceptional cases where dolphins that are interested in human interaction may approach the boat and attempt to communicate!
