Venice Land is a place in Jeju that brings the beautiful scenery of Venice, Italy — famously known as the city of water — to life. You can enjoy the Venetian canals on a gondola ride and admire the pristine seasonal landscapes of Jeju through 23 themed gardens. While crossing the artificial waterways, you can row the gondola yourself, creating a unique and memorable experience. Along the canals, you’ll also find sculptures inspired by precious relics from remote corners of the world.

Since koi fish live in the canals, you can purchase fish food and enjoy the magical moment when they follow your boat. This place also boasts Korea’s largest artificial forest and waterfall, offering a perfect blend of Jeju’s nature and Venice’s charm. Beyond the waterways, there are many other attractions like the World Ethnic Museum, waterfalls, and cafĆ©s — making it a great spot for both sightseeing and relaxing.

The German Village in Namhae is a charming town where white walls, orange roof tiles, and the blue sea of Namhae come together to create a uniquely exotic landscape steeped in history. In the 1960s, Korean workers traveled to Germany to support economic development, and many of them longed to return to Korea after years abroad. Learning this, Namhae County created this village as both a home for the returning workers and a special tourist attraction.

Traditional German-style houses line the streets, and visitors can experience various aspects of German culture, including its food. Take your time strolling through the village and admire the unique interior designs of each house. Some homes also operate as pensions, offering guests a chance to stay overnight in this one-of-a-kind setting. This picturesque village is not only visually stunning but also holds the stories and efforts of the Korean workers who went to Germany, featuring beautifully tended gardens and rich expressions of German cultural heritage.

Oedo Botania is an exotic botanical island where the lifelong dedication of a couple meets the scenic beauty of the Namhae sea. Oedo is a remote island, quite far from the mainland, and its story began when a man, caught in a typhoon while fishing nearby, ended up staying overnight on the island. Captivated by the place, he eventually purchased the entire island. Together with his wife, he began developing it in the early 1970s, nurturing a vision for a botanical garden that took over 30 years to shape.

Once opened to the public, it quickly became a beloved healing destination visited by many. The island, born from their sweat and tears, is now celebrated for its harmonious blend of nature and landscaped beauty. Visitors are given two hours to explore its grounds, which include a plaza, gardens with various themes, the Stairway to Heaven, breakwaters, lighthouses, and other exotic structures. Every step reveals breathtaking, picture-perfect scenery that is sure to leave you in awe.
