The beauty of walking is that it allows you to slow down and take in your surroundings. It's the same speed as the people of your destination, and it's a process of assimilating into the places they live and the landscape along the way. As I gaze in awe at the market where I buy supplies for my family's dinners or the enormous lines at popular restaurants, I realize that life is the same everywhere I go.

If you slow down and focus on the process of taking in your surroundings, even going somewhere new can be a journey. In that spirit, today's destination is Songpa-gu, Seoul. This neighborhood is home to Lotte World, Lotte World Tower, and the Olympic main stadium, all of which are iconic Seoul landmarks. We start with Songridan-gil.

Songridan-gil is a popular place for young Koreans. There are many restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy wonderful food and drinks, as well as numerous shopping and brand stores where you can get unique goods. You may also enjoy the street culture and creative ambience, where there are artworks and performances, as well as various ambient and decentralized spots for relaxing and wandering.

When you exit Line 9 at Songpa-naru Station and take Exit 1, you'll meet a broad boulevard and an open outlook. As you continue along the boulevard, you'll soon arrive at Songridan-gil, a street lined with cafes and eateries. The alleyway shopping district around Seokchon Lake is referred to as Songridan-gil, which connects Gyeongri-dan-gil (Itaewon) and Mangnidan-gil (Mangwon-dong), the original alleyway travel destinations. There are numerous eateries with excellent lake views. If you have time, why not take a break from your day at a cafe with a view of Seokchon Lake's tranquil waters?

Editor's Comments: Sit on the terrace and have a cold Americano and a cinnamon roll while gazing out the large glass windows towards Lake Seokchon. As the cafe's name suggests, a variety of cinnamon rolls are their signature, and we recommend the sweet and salty Peanut Butter Snickers Roll, the Oreo Cream Cheese Roll, which combines the sweetness of Oreos with the smoothness of cream cheese, or the Maple Bacon Cinnamon Roll, where the crisp texture of bacon is balanced by maple syrup.

The "Yakwa Granola Cookie Bar" is an easy-to-eat treat that combines the sweet flavor of yakwa with a crunchy texture. In addition, the Sandwich Cookie Furoshiki Set and Tea Set are the ultimate in Korean beauty and make great gifts
